Travels Tips

  • Make sure you sign on the signature bar on the back of the card.
  • Inform us about the destination and the period of your travel, so we do not suspend your credit card, unless we suspect an unauthorized activity.
  • Do not carry all your credit and debit cards with you when you travel. This decreases the risk of having all your cards being lost or stolen.
  • Carry a record of the card numbers, including the customer service number, in a safe place. This will make it easier for you to inform us about a lost or stolen card.
  • Before you use any ATM, take extra care and check if there is any external plastic card reader that aims at stealing your information.
  • When you type your PIN at any merchant, make sure no one can see it.
  • Do not allow waiters or cashiers to take your card out of your sight and swipe it on your behalf.
  • Make sure you update your mobile number at Nayifat to receive notifications about transactions on a regular basis. This will allow you to inform us about any transaction you suspect.
  • Review the transaction amount before you approve it, to avoid any fraud that could be more than the exact amount.
  • If any retailer claims that the first transaction did not go through, make sure you get the cancellation slip. This will help you avoid double charge.
  • Change your PIN on a regular basis through call center or online services.
  • Check all your cards statements and if any dispute contact the Nayifat immediately
  • Avoid using unsecured Wi-Fi, public or shared networks.
